Sportsworld Crew Criteria

 

Sportsworld exists as a local missions opportunity for the students of Denton Bible Church grades 6th – 12th to minister to elementary aged kids in our community.

Dress Code
  • Boys/Girls: Boys-swim trunks must be 3 fingers above the knee. Girls-modest one piece swimsuits with a straight across neckline. No holes in swimsuits. 
  • Boys/Girls: No light colored shirts/shorts (you’ll be getting wet).
  • Boys/Girls: No tank tops, spaghetti straps, cut off shirts, or tight muscle shirts. 
  • Boys/Girls: No leggings or biker shorts. All shorts need to have a minimum 6 inch inseam with a straight hem all the way around the shorts. Boys, if you choose to wear sliders under your shorts please make sure your shorts cover them. There will be a shorts example attached to the email you’ll receive after your registration is complete.
  • If you’re a Yaya counselor/have yaya that day: Girls-we ask that you wear shorts, but you don’t have to wear a shirt over your swimsuit if you so choose. The shorts at Yaya need to be the same length of shorts you’d normally wear during the day. Boys-you need to please be wearing a shirt while at Yaya. Everyone: tank tops are acceptable for your time at yaya, but a normal shirt will need to be put on for the afternoon.
